Santa came to town.

Yesterday I had a date with Santa Claus. To be more specific, it was a much anticipated date I kept,  to photograph the 111th Toronto Santa Claus parade. It was wonderful to see and capture all the colour,  fantastic costumes and gaiety of the parade. I mingled with the excited crowd of spectators, and took pleasure in watching the gleeful faces of kids and parents alike, as they beheld this spectacular sight.  Here are some of the highlights;

Halloween. Exciting, Colourful Event, a Photographer's dream.

I could hardly wait for Halloween to roll around again, this year, to once again capture the sights on Bloor St West during the Toronto West Halloween Fest.   There was lots to see;  Cute kids and kids-at-heart ,  dressed in colourful and imaginative costumes , a marching band , stage shows -to name a few. This year's surprises included performances by Splash'N Boots and a Taylor Swift Tribute Show.
As well, there was a Trick-or-Treat  5 K walk with many exciting stops and surprises along the way. As a photographer, I couldn't have asked for a more exciting opportunity to practice what I love, -taking images, -capturing the moment.  I love my job!

A Memorable Event

As a photographer ,  I have occasion to cover a wide variety of events. Yesterday was a really memorable night. After an interview with the Hon. Hazel McCallion, former mayor of Mississauga Ontario, (see previous blog,)  --- Carmela Zita Capeleris' 2nd guest was Consultant, Coach and Motivational Speaker Jon Cheplak.
Mr. Cheplak is the author of "Interrupt the Pattern-The Path to Your Higher Self." He discussed the 3 Secret Principles of Business and Real Estate which was then followed by a Q and A session and book signing.   A very charismatic  speaker exuding high energy  ,  Mr Cheplak was surrounded by fans who eagerly snapped up all copies of his above-mentioned book. This Ultimate Networking Event was a huge success . Thank you Carmela, for making this happen. Your show is always an inspiration.
